New Brunswick Plans Two Prisons

New Brunswick is developing two new prisons designed for LEED certification that will deliver a total of 40 cells for a combined cost of $56 million.

The DOC must add 8,900 beds and replace almost 2,700 existing beds to modernize facilities and relieve overcrowding, according to an independent study.
