Modular Cells

SPS modular jail and prison cells are a technological advancement over precast and traditional steel cells. SPS is a composite material comprising a polyurethane core sandwiched by two sheets of steel. These cells feature hidden integrated protection against blast, ballistics, impact and fire, making them tamper-proof, and, as no two cells share a wall, true isolation cells can be achieved for a quieter facility. SPS is 75 percent lighter and 80 percent thinner than concrete, allowing facilities to fit more cells into a smaller footprint. SPS cells also offer shorter construction schedules as cells can be shipped either flat packed or preassembled allowing for installation after the building has been enclosed.
