Don Morgan

Armor Correctional Health Services Inc. announced the promotion of Don Morgan to vice president of program development. Morgan has been with Armor since 2007, where he serves as the director of strategic planning and marketing. Morgan’s many years of experience in health care management and community behavioral and health care planning has also lent support to Armor’s marketing and operations teams. In addition to overseeing discharge planning and community relations/program development, Morgan is also a strategic partner with business development and marketing.

His new role will include regular site visits, training and collaborating directly with site leadership on strategy, best practices, reentry support and collaborating with operations on retention of contracts. He will also work with other department heads on strengthening community provider partnerships; and to research and analyze products, technology and services that improve the quality and continuity of care. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in health care administration from Duke University in Durham, N.C.
