Chris Murphree is the new vice president of project development at the Miami-based firm, CGL. Prior to joining CGL, Murphree served as director of construction for Corrections Corporation of America. He has been responsible for the end-to-end delivery of new prison construction projects and expansions with project budgets ranging from $15 million to $180 million. He is a member of the Design Build Institute of America and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in engineering technology/architectural technology from the University of Memphis in Tennessee.
