Summit Builders Acquired by dck worldwide

HONOLULU — dck worldwide, the parent company of Honolulu-based dck pacific construction, purchased Summit Builders, on Sept. 10, 2012, to form Summit dck.

A purchase price was not revealed.

Summit Builders is a general contractor based in Phoenix, Ariz., which has provided preconstruction and construction services for the last 26 years to markets such as retail, commercial, education, health care, and housing. The acquisition is intended to enhance both dck’s and Summit’s market reach by combining their resources and will allow Summit dck to focus its efforts in the southwestern region, including Arizona, California, New Mexico, and Texas, where Summit has established a strong presence and culture.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to acquire a well-respected, client-focused, quality organization such as Summit Builders and look forward to continuing to provide quality services focused on exceeding client expectations,” said Stephen D’Angelo, CEO and president of dck worldwide.
