Glazier Adds Sierracin Products to Offerings
(12/09/2005)

SELMA, Ala. - One of the most well-established glazing products in the corrections market is now available from Globe Amerada Architectural Glass as the result of a new partnership.

The firm recently entered into a partnership with Sierracin Corporation, allowing Globe Amerada Architectural Glass to manufacture and supply Sierracin's OmniLite and OmniArmor security and bullet-resistant glazing products. The company will also take over responsibility for answering customers' questions.

Sierracin Corporation and it's Trans Tech Division recently announced its decision to withdraw from the architectural corrections market. That company says it will now concentrate on providing glazing protection for military armored vehicles, ships, aircraft, and other secure government facilities.

Globe Amerada Architectural Glass has long manufactured similar security glazing products. Under the new mutual agreement, Sierracin Corporation will fully support the new supplier's efforts by making available designs and manufacturing technology.
